Suits are a classic no matter what style we choose to rock. You can wear a suit with sneakers, a denim shirt, a colored tie or no tie. Go for a preppy look, or decide to be a dandy. No matter who you are and how you choose to suit up, a clean cut will always prevail on any manly silhouette. How many brands actualy focus (almost) exclusively on such essential pieces ? Sneakers, shirts, polos, cardigans and varsitys are all on board for the capsule collection between two of the most iconic french brands. Lacoste L!ve the youthfull line teams up with Cool Cats, the gang formed by SO-ME, Busy P and La MJC. Music and sartorial fantasies don’t alway make sens, but here they do. French Store: Colette.  4 models:  The Calavera, Pon Pon, Cross silver and Cross gold are handmade and come in 40 different colors with the idea that customers will collect them to make their own unique color combinations when worn. Two of my favorite brands come together and give us this highly anticipated line: End Clothing. Not a capsule collection, but rather a full collection, halfway between both Houses, from trousers, to shoes passing by a tasteful varsity jacket, both houses came up with a very solid lookbook. Kid Cudi attended Jimmy Fallon’s Post-Emmy party with burgers in hand wearing a Balmain corduroy western shirt ($840) and a pair of Air Jordan “True Blue” Retro 3 sneakers ($150). This green cotton long sleeve distressed corduroy shirt features snap button down closure with two snap flap chest pockets.

Nike Zoom “Leopard Pack”

Nike has unveiled new images of its Leopard Pack collaboration with fragment design, as well as an official release date for the trio of shoes. Consisting of the Zoom All Court 2 in three different colorways, the pack can be arranged in varying degrees of wildness, from modest grey and white to a middling brown and tan to vivid pink and purple. Look for the shoes to hit Nike Stadium and other select retail locations on September 10th. More looks after the jump.

KID CUDI AND SURFACE 2 AIR Just launched the HIGHLY anticpated video of the Cleaveland based artist : MR Rager. This is probably one of the coolest and most aesthetic video i’ve seen in ages. Tattoo Age : Troy Denning

In this episode, Tattoo Age visits the New York City tattoo shop, Invisible NYC, and carouses around town to various local spots of Denning’s choosing, such as East Village Japanese restaurant, Village Yokocho, while hanging out with the notorious tattooer and his motley crew of fanatics. Denning discusses the history behind his Japanese style of tattooing, known for its striking thickness and toughness, while he playfully pulls down the pants of his clients and talks warrior-fantasies, knives, and guns.

Interview: Carine Roitfeld

Although Carine Roitfeld is no longer the editor of French Vogue, she remains steadily at the perch of the fashion world, standing atop those super-high bondage-referencing heels that she partly made a staple of Parisian style (along with close-fitting pencil skirts, black leather, cinch-waist toppers, and if any woman dared follow her dictates, a little nipple). But la femme parisienne, which Roitfeld very much is, makes her own ground wherever she walks.

Septembre Issue Vogue Paris

This year, Iconic fall issue will be featuring Princess Charlotte Casiraghi shot by Mario Testino. It’s easy to be disappointed by such and odd choice never the less we’ll all be buying the 12,90€ magazine. If not for the pictures at least for the T-Shirt (This is a joke). PROJECT LV – Sneak Peak

For Spring 2012, Publish offers bright floral prints, tailored jogger pants, and wool/cotton shorts. All garments are indicative of a refinement of brand aesthetic, with Publish continuing to build on a desire to re-invent military pieces with a jazz influence. Expansion of materials used also lends to the growth of the line – aside from oxfords and wools, they are also employing some Cordura in rugged pants.

Lookbook: Supreme A/W11

There is nothing I can really say about the NYC based label that has nt been said. The blueprint to most premium street and high end brands. Anything you do, SUPREME does it with way more swag. Period. Hit the switch.

A very solid lookbook for the Japanese brand Labrat. High end streetwear, the collection offers a wide variety of looks for the upcoming season. Somewhere between Ralph Lauren illegitimate kid with Surface 2 Air, the looks feature a great combo of exuberant pink flavored Peejays, leather slims and chinos. I cant tell you much of a fan I am. A must when it comes to premium urban wear. Hit the switch.

Sigrid Argen 27 year old nominee and price winner of the 2007 Elite model contest, Sigrid was born in Martinique (France), and raised between Normandy and Sweden. Concidered by many as the next Kate Moss, she worked for brands such as Prada, YSL, Calvin Klein & Stella Mc Cartney. Last but not least it is rumored she likes sushi. If your done reading. Remember Timberland ?

Their back with a new anti-fatigue comfort technology and flexible footbed. Wiliam Yan (the guys that blogs here.) just released the fruits of his collaboration with iconic boot  manufacturer Timberland. Sent out on the streets of NYC and SF to capture people in Timberland for their “Man on the Street”page on Facebook. Authentic work thats spot on the essence of the brand. Aired for the first time two days ago on Channel 4, the Antics Roadshow is a mind blowing documentary analyzing the history of incivility. Produced by Street Artist genius BANKSY. The show is an audacious look into the world of street thugness, whether the actions are motivated by pure boredom or real political struggle. Patterns ? Yes sir. I’ve showcased a couple of collection from different inspirational horizon in the past couple of weeks, and they all rock them. Pink being the new black, we can presume patterns are the new pink. The collection does not narrow down to this single detail though. En vogue shoes, and some real sweet chinos. Original Fake F/W 11

Original Fake, presents their new Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. No doubt about it, I’ve rarely seen an artist brand look so fresh, the label continues to diddy bop their way in the fashion industry with a large range of quality product. Tommy Hilfiger fresh with that Supreme swag.

The new collection sports some great outerwear pieces, including peacoats, duffle coats and fur hooded down jackets. As usual it is all about the details, the graphic elements by artist Kaws are flawless. Special mention for the chinos.

Model Behavior #2: Alice Dellal

From now on every thursday, I’ll give you a lesson in Model Behavior. I’ll pick out an outstanding looking girl and introduce you to a few of her pics.  Knowing the brands is nice. Knowing the names of the chicks rocking them, is hotter.

Alice Dellal is a fucking rock star. Everything about her is edgy and sexy. Let me just mention she’s the face of Mango and the body of the Agent Provocateur collection. Modeling with a twist.

LookBook: Beautiful Ful A/W11

The L.A based, Beautiful Ful looks to bring classic looks of menswear in line with the Californian spirtit. Not quite american not quite european. While some pieces, specialy, the suits and the accessories seem pretty rad, the hoody/coat featuring are a fail. No one over the age of 5 should attempt a hoody/coat one piece combo.

Although the collection has some interesting pieces, I don’t think a motorcycle ridding Pete Doherty is an appealing image. Never the less, the collection is yours to enjoy. Hit the flip.

Documentary: ODB – Dirty Thoughts

ODB was fuckin’ insane. From his tinfoil grills to taking a TV crew in a limousine to pick up social security check ODB’s life was intriguing, insane, and always original as he constantly kept his ear to the streets. Probably the last real rock star. Lived like one. Died like one. RIP ODB.

Lil Wayne – Sorry 4 The Wait

With Tha Carter IV pushed back until August 29th, Tunechi makes up for it with an apology: Sorry 4 The Wait. A 12 track project that brings us back to the “drought is over” days.  Sampling all sorts of instrumentals from “Tupac Back” to “Gucci Gucci.” With features from Gudda Gudda, Lil B, Raw Dizzy and more, Tune may be sorry but we can’t blame him.
